Is this an independent contractor (1099) position?

Yes, it is! Therefore, taxes will not be taken out of your paycheck. You are responsible for taxes. However, there will be an administrative fee of $49.99 per biweekly check. This will automatically be deducted from your paycheck.

How often will I receive pay outs?

You will receive payouts biweekly via direct deposit or wire.

Can I apply if I am not a US citizen?

What fees will I have to pay and why?

We have a service fee of $49.99 per pay cycle that includes the fee charged by our partner, Arise which is $19.75. We pay our agents on the 15th and the last day of each month. Hire Wise must cover business costs including partner fees, bank fees, software costs, direct deposit fees and more. Our service fee allows us to provide you support getting started, during your certification process and beyond. We want you to succeed!
